Heather joined the Cedar Valley Orthopedic office in 2016. She obtained her RN from Kaplan University in 2013. She and her husband Aaron have a daughter and two cats named Sneak and Frank. Her favorite sports teams are the Minnesota Vikings, the Northern Iowa Volleyball team and the Iowa Hawkeye Football team. Heather loves to play sports, especially volleyball. Jill is proud to be a radiologic technologist for all providers in the office. She joined Cedar Valley Orthopedics in 2012. Jill graduated from both the University of Northern Iowa with her Bachelor's Degree, and Covenant School of Radiology. She and her husband adore their two children, along with their Olde English Bulldog. She loves her family and spending time with them on vacation and attending St. Louis Cardinals games. Jill sponsors a teenager in the Dominican Republic to help him get through school. She loves helping out in the kid zone at church. Her favorite sports teams are the St. Louis Cardinals, Iowa Hawkeyes, and UNI Football. Some things Jill enjoys are Crossfit, playing golf and going on walks with her family. She’s also a big fan of fountain Diet Coke. -

Krystle joined the Cedar Valley Orthopedic team in 2015. She graduated from Hawkeye Community College in 2006 with her LPN degree and earned her RN degree one year later in 2007. Krystle is a loving wife and mother to her two children. The family also has a dog and a bird. Her favorite sports team is the Iowa Hawkeyes. Her hobbies include time with family, being outside, playing volleyball, kayaking and canoeing. Her duties around the office consist of answering phone calls, casting, splinting, brace fitting, updating paperwork, brace and supply ordering, suture removal, surgery info prep, and chart prep. -

Leslie joined Cedar Valley Orthopedics in 2018. Leslie graduated from Allen College of Radiology in 2001. She currently resides in Denver with her husband of 22 years, Chad. They have three children, Natalee, 18, Chase, 17, and Grace, 16. They also have two black labs named Briar and Rose. She loves helping others and coming to work every day because she always learns something new. Leslie's favorite part of the job is meeting new people and seeing them get back to their everyday activities. She volunteers at her children's sporting and school events. Her favorite sports teams are the Chicago Bears and Cubs. Her main role is being a radiologic technologist. She also helps out the front office and the workflow in the back office. -

Jen joined Cedar Valley Orthopedics in 2018. She graduated from Kaplan University in 2010. Jen is happily married and a loving mother of two kids and their family cat. She favorite sports team is the Iowa Hawkeyes. When Jen is not at work, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends. Jen's main duties consist of shadowing Dr. Bartelt and Stephanie Smith to provide their documentation when they are in a patient's exam room. She assists in printing work notes, school notes, and therapy orders as well. She also takes care of faxing the office notes to their designated destination. -

Abby joined Cedar Valley Orthopedics in 2019. She currently resides in Jesup with her son, daughter, and spoiled Pocket Beagle named Cash. Her favorite things to do include spending time with family and friends, enjoying the outdoors, biking, swimming, running, gardening and skiing. Abby also volunteers as a Sunday School teacher. Sarah joined Cedar Valley Orthopedics in 2004. Sarah graduated from Waterloo East High School and later went on to receive her CCMA certification. She has two children and one dog. Sarah volunteers at her childrens' music and sports events. Her duties include scheduling surgeries, injections, high-tech radiology, obtaining prior authorizations from insurance and workers' compensation companies, referral coordinator, and manage calendars for the providers. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends, watching sports, playing cards, reading, walking, attending concerts, and exploring new things. -

Jennifer joined Cedar Valley Orthopedics in 2014. She graduated from Cedar Falls High School and Kaplan University. She is married with three children and two dogs. They love to spend time outside going fishing. Her favorite sports team is the Iowa Hawkeyes. As the person manning the front desk, she gets to greet patients when they come into the office, check them in for their appointments, and make sure insurances and paperwork are updated. She likes working at the front desk when patients come in for the first time, whether it's for an injury or just aches and pains that happen over time. Seeing how the patients progress through their treatment and complete their care with us makes her job more enjoyable! -

Abby joined Cedar Valley Orthopedics in 2016. Abby graduated from Turkey Valley Community Schools along with Hawkeye Community College where she received her AAA in Professional Photography. She currently resides in Waverly with her husband, son, and their two dogs. She is a proud military wife, as her husband currently serves in the National Guard. Her favorite things to do include spending time with family and friends while watching football games, baseball games and going out to the movies. She volunteers every summer with the South Winneshiek Area Community Group (SWACG) that puts on the fireworks show every 4th of July in Spillville. Her favorite sports teams are the Green Bay Packers, Chicago Cubs, and the Iowa Hawkeyes. Her main role in the office is to assist with medical records and updating patient accounts. She will also answer the phones when patients call in and schedule appointments.
