Stephanie Smith, ARNP, FNP-C
Stephanie provides excellent assistance to Dr. Bartelt and his partners with every aspect of your care at Cedar Valley Orthopedic Surgery & Physical Therapy. She has the pleasure of treating patients of all ages, from infancy to adults. Stephanie has been fascinated with orthopedics from a young age. Growing up in a large and very active family, injuries were a way of life. Stephanie often jokes that between her three brothers, her sister and herself, they kept local ERs and ORs quite busy.
As Stephanie entered the healthcare field, she was able to observe surgery as a young nursing student where her love of orthopedics was affirmed. Upon graduation in 2015, Stephanie took a position at Sartori Memorial Hospital as a surgical nurse. Stephanie then went on to receive her graduate degree from Allen College while working at Allen Hospital in the operating room. She is also certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. Her professional interests include:
- Joint Replacement Surgery
- Sports Medicine
- Orthopedic Trauma
Stephanie says, “I feel so fortunate to have found such a perfect position that combines my nursing experience, skills and passion. I want to provide each patient with a personalized experience. I want you all to know that I take pride in providing patient-centered care. I am your biggest cheerleader and be sure to remind you all that we are in this together.”
In her spare time, Stephanie enjoys spending time with her family, spoiling their dog Belle, crafting, baking and being creative.
